El presente trabajo reflexiona sobre el uso de la fotografía en la etnografía, y sobre las similitudes y diferencias con el registro sonoro documental a partir del trabajo de campo sobre la relación del uso de espacios ecológico-culturales y las representaciones y prácticas terapéuticas y preventivas biomédicas de la tuberculosis pulmonar en la frontera norte de México, años 2016 y 2017.
