Este ensayo propone una conversación, a partir de algunos deslindes teóricos del campo de la semiótica, acerca de los procesos de construcción de sentido de nuestras memorias familiares/culturales y de los modos de habitar los espacios fronterizos en los que migramos. Se propondrá un itinerario por algunas imágenes postales y los relatos que se disparan de ellas, como un modo de aproximarnos a nuestras propias historias y memorias colectivas.

Memory and immigration: the story of ourselves
This essay proposes a conversation, based on some theoretical boundaries from the field of semiotics, about the processes of construction of meaning of our family/cultural memories and the ways of inhabiting the border spaces in which we migrate. We will propose an itinerary through some postcard images and the stories that are triggered by them, as a way of approaching our own histories and collective memories.
