En el primer apartado de este artículo, a modo de estado de conocimiento, se describen las investigaciones realizadas en América Latina y Argentina sobre sus experiencias en los servicios de Terapia Intensiva, Cuidados Intensivos, Emergencia y Guardia. En la segunda parte, se describen los principales temores y percepciones sobre la muerte del personal de salud. Para ello, se retoman algunas de las emociones y sentimientos que atravesó el personal de salud abocado a las primeras líneas de atención al paciente.

Fears and perceptions about the death of health personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic
The first section of this article describes the research carried out in Latin America and Argentina on their experiences in Intensive Care, Intensive Care, Emergency and On-call services. In the second part, the main fears and perceptions about the death of health personnel are described. To do so, some of the emotions and feelings experienced by health personnel working on the front lines of patient care are taken up. Those who had a greater physical and mental workload.
